The university held a series of workshops on May 11 and 19 as part of the “IMAGINE THE FUTURE. Forum (ITF.F)” initiative.
Approximately 20 faculty and staff members participated in each session, representing diverse academic disciplines and roles in industry collaboration.
Participants engaged in group discussions on how the new facility can support innovative research and partnerships. The sessions explored the full innovation cycle—from idea generation to industry collaboration and societal implementation—while identifying both current challenges and future opportunities.
Key challenges included limited external visibility of the university’s strengths, a lack of support systems for developing research ideas, and complex administrative processes. At the same time, participants highlighted strengths such as interdisciplinary collaboration, diverse research fields, and a supportive environment for early-career researchers.
Looking ahead, proposed initiatives include the use of AI tools to improve efficiency, the development of integrated support systems for research and innovation, and expanded opportunities for collaboration with industry.
The workshops underscored a strong commitment among faculty and staff to drive innovation and create new value.
The Forum building of “ITF.F” initiative will continue to evolve as a hub for collaboration, connecting the university with industry and regional research partners to generate meaningful social impact.
